Today is my first day participating in Thankful Thursday! I found this on lots of blogs that I visit and think it's a fantastic idea. It's a great way to maintain a positive attitude in a world that is increasingly negative. I think it's very important to look back each week and remember what I have to be thankful for. If any of you would like to join Thankful Thursday, you'll find the link on the bottom right side of this blog. So, this week I am thankful for:
~A safe trip to Michigan and back, and a fantastic time with family.
~My husband got me roses on the trip. I'm so thankful for a husband who thinks of my needs and loves me enough to dote on me even on vacation.
~My daughter and how well she is adjusting back home, and how well she did on the trip.
~Our kitty, Gimli, who is so tame and allows my child to pick it up by the paws, pat it's head a little too hard, "tickle" his belly, scare it to death, hold it in her lap, flip it off chair cushions, etc. He's a great addition to the family and brings so much joy to Emily, and for that I am thankful.
~Today we find out the gender of our baby! I'm so thankful for the technology that allows me to see my unborn child. I'm also thankful to be at the halfway point and to be feeling lots of movement from the baby.
~I am also so thankful for this blog and the encouragement I have been receiving and how it has blessed my life!

Welcome to Thankful Thursday! I love this day of the week, and it's an especially good pick-me-up when I'm having a grumpy day! (which is not today though cuz I'm so excited for YOU!)
