Over the weekend while my Nana was still in town we had a birthday party for both Sarah and Stewart (even though his isn't until the 25th). We had pizza, cake, ice cream, presents and some games. It was a nice time to share with friends and family. We had two other couples and their children beside my parents and Nana there and we really had a nice time. The star of the show was of course Sarah when she ate her cake. She really dug in, and I had a feeling she would, which is why we undressed her before letting her go at it. Anyway, I can't believe it's been a whole year. She is so appropriately named Sarah Joy, she brings so much joy to our lives. What a true blessing it is to be a mother of two beautiful girls. Happy birthday Sarah, we love you and are so thankful for you!

And the night ended with Sarah trying to take all of John's toys out of his party bag. Luckily there were no melt downs. The kids played very well together and it was a very nice time.

How delightfully disgusting! LOL! And that's what 1st bdays are alll about. It stinks we missed it but HAPPY BIRTHDAY SARAH!!!!
