Today I came across a story of a little girl, just 10 months old, who went home to be with the Lord yesterday. Just three weeks ago the family had no idea she had cancer, and now she is home in Heaven. To read more about baby Cora, visit here.

There are so many nights. So many. Where I just can not wait until bed time. Can not wait for a little peace and quite. To do some 'mommy' things, clean up my wrecked house, read a book, spend time with my husband, etc. So many nights I speed up bedtime, hanging on by a thread, so worn out by the day just ready to flop in front of the TV or the computer and veg for a little while.

But not tonight.

Both girls are sleeping, I actually have time to be alone, and I don't want it.

I just want to hold them. Rock them. Cover them with love and kisses. They are so precious. I am so lucky.

I am so there with you Amy. Many, many days I too can't wait for bedtime. Funny how reading a story like that just makes you so grateful for the everyday, doesn't it?

I too am SOOOO blessed. And so thankful. Thanks for sharing.
