Potty training

We had a small, but very large victory today on the potty training front. We ventured out of the house for the first time in big girl underwear. Emily stayed dry the whole way there, the whole time in the store, and the whole ride home! When we got home she went right into the bathroom and used the potty. Looks like we may have turned a corner folks! Hooray!! Victory!! So THANK YOU to everyone who has been encouraging and offered help during this very stressful month!

*Potty update: Monday night (last night) we ended up going out to Home Depot to order some carpet. Emily stayed dry (only her second trip out with underwear) on what turned out to be a longer than expected trip. THEN, this morning when we went in to get her, she told me that she stayed dry. AND she was! She stayed dry all night and held it in until we sat on the toilet this morning. YAY!

I just found your blog and I have really enjoyed looking through it! I also have a 2 yr. old daughter and I have a 4 month old baby girl. We are trying to potty train as well. So far, it is slow going! I will definitely read more about what you have to say on the subject! Anyway, I wil be back. God Bless, Julie
