This week I am thankful for:
~ My mom. She is always available to babysit or to come over at the drop of a hat whenever I need her. She's got a big heart and is always there for a shoulder to cry on.
~ Good friends! Specifically this week, my friend Sarah remembered my desire for a piano and mentioned it to a man who was looking to get rid of his and now I'll finally be getting a piano to play! My friend Mary who is always available for play dates and to bounce ideas off of. In general I have been really blessed with an awesome circle of friends!
~ My daughter. She is communicating SO well and is such a joy to play with. We've been able to spend family time in the evening playing softball and fun activities like that. It's a joy to sit around and laugh together as a family! What a blessing!
~ My husband. He is such a hard worker! There are always small jobs to be finished in this house and he is always more than willing to tackle any project that may pop up. He is constantly aware of our needs and has been unbelievably helpful with Emily during this pregnancy. I am so blessed with his involvement in our lives!
~ My mother-in-law. Today she sent us all a package with lots of Halloween gifts and snacks packed inside. There were also things for Stew and I and clothing for Em and the new baby. She's so thoughtful to send us a little package every so often. Emily really enjoys getting packages from grandma! She is super involved in our lives, even in being so far away. We miss her lots!!
~ Our pastor. He is so learned about the scriptures and so caring for his church family. Stew and I are so excited to be a part of this church. We are actually itching and excited to go to church on Sunday, which is a fire we haven't felt in quite some time. We have been so blessed in the (almost) year that we have been there. I look back at where we were a year ago and PRAISE THE LORD for leading us to this church and allowing the Holy Spirit to work in our lives like he has.
~ My life. There are so many things that are so easy to take for granted every day. I really am blessed in the life that I lead. Even in the small things like doing dishes, I am blessed to have good food available to cook, means to cook it, and running water to clean up afterwards! God has really taken care of our family and I am so thankful for his provisions!
