Walking and writing

Yesterday Sarah turned 10 months old! I can hardly believe that much time has gone by. In just two short months she will be a one year old! Wow. Now on to the report:

A couple of days ago Sarah starting walking with the help of the walker! She can also stand for a very brief second or so without holding onto anything. Won't be long now before she's walking on her own and into toddler hood!

Also, on Thursday Emily wrote the words "Emily" (which she's been able to do since April), "March" (although the R is a backwards F), and "September". Emily had written "March" about a month ago sitting next to me drawing on the floor, without me having to tell her how to spell it. For "September" though she did ask which letters made up the word, but still, she wrote it. She's 3.
