Thankful Thursday

This week I am thankful for my new piano!! As you can see, it does need a bit of work, but once it is tuned, re-finished, and completed, it will be great! Playing the piano is so relaxing for me and I usually use it as an outlet when I am feeling down. SO, now that I finally have one again, I am loving my special time playing it. Although, right now, it sounds like a dying animal, but I can still hear the music in my head! :-D I am also thankful for being in my last 10 weeks of pregnancy! Woohoo!

My MIL just gave us her mother's piano and I am so excited! I play by ear but want to start taking lessons soon. Good luck with your delivery! I am a labor nurse in South Carolina!

Oh me too! My dear mother-in-love gave us her old piano which used to be lovely but now is in rather sad shape. Maybe you and I can encourage each other to get the refinishing done? I've been waiting for (I'm embarassed to say) 2 years!

This a a wonderful thankful post. I love to play old hymns on my piano. I am not a good piano player at all. However, when I sit down to play hymns the are beautiful and perfect. Go figure. I think God likes to hear them so He pushes my fingers to the right keys. Amazing.

Oh, enjoy!! Music is a divine gift from the King. Thank you for joining in and praising our King today. Love and hugs, Lynn
