Toddler Tuesday

Wow, it's been a long time since I've posted a toddler activity schedule! Actually, I have decided to do away with the weekly activity plan on Monday and instead will be posting on Tuesday's. The idea of these new posts will be to just share an activity (or two) that we did during the week. My hope is that by using Mr.Linky we can all share activity ideas with each other. So, here it goes:

Last week Emily and I decorated my kitchen apron. I went to a local craft store and bought fabric paint, brushes and a stencil pattern. We set up shop at her craft table and went to it. I demonstrated how to do one and then she took over. She insisted on a hand print so we added that as well.

The finished product!

I decided to not decorate the whole apron in case we wanted to add more later, or I might let other children add their hand print to it when they get into toddler hood.

If you have an activity idea or advice on the stages/struggles of toddler hood, leave a comment or link up with Mr.Linky below!

Oh, I thought she was just going to free hand paint on the apron! The stencils look really cute; she did a great job! Maybe someday she can decorate her own little Emily-sized apron!
